For the past 2 years I've had several small projects to do around my house.. everytime I need a tool, parts or paint my experience has been 5 star! Before we even pass by the registers someone is always there asking what they can help me find. Walking us right to where we need to be and talking me through the project; offering helpful advise! Overall this store is just in a convenient place, I wanted to make this my hardware store but the customer service is far from 5 stars. I recently called to ask if they rented out rototillers, but unfortunately the rental area " didn't know what that is", which truly blows my mind! My husband and I also bought a hot tub, not from here, but when he went in to see if he could purchase chemicals for our CALSPA, he was berated for the brand of spa we purchased and then they made no attempt to even sell to him, and continued to pester him on his choice of brand purchase. I actually have many more stories like this.
Far from Kayla Bryant's raging review, I'm giving them a raving review! They do hire some high school students who may not know everything & maybe haven't had enough life experience to master problem solving skills, but the more experienced staff try to help when needed. I have NEVER gone in there & walked out disappointed! Then again, I'm more down to earth, understanding & patient than the likes of people like Kayla. I frequent this place & have happily spent HUNDREDS of dollars there. For the most part, they have a very knowledgeable staff but with the occasional high school inexperienced employees. I've ALWAYS been treated with the utmost respect.
